Description

It`s a macho life as a police cadet and Marc is part of a fresh-faced, close-knit team where the locker room is the social hub for discussion and letting off steam before returning to their personal lives. But it is here after a training session with other police cadets, where Marc meets the free-spirited Kay, a young man with his own unique view on life and an instant friendship is formed.
A couple of weeks later Kay is unexpectedly transferred to Marc`s team and the two men become virtually inseparable. This new friendship fills Marc with a new confidence and a whole new lease of life as he falls in love with his friend and colleague. But there is a problem because Marc has a wife who is very close to giving birth to their first child. Suddenly his life is in free fall and Marc realises that try as he may, he will never be able to make everyone happy. Least of all, himself.

Un film profond… sans mauvais vilain jeux de mot !!!

Un film fort, poignant, pesant…
On sent tout le mal être des personnages principaux. Leur manque, leur solitude, leur était de perte de contrôle.

Les scènes de sexe deviennent de plus en plus embarrassantes, gênant.
Elles mettent de plus ne plus mal à l’aise. Certaines ont une touche de sensualité ce qui rend beaux le force de cet amour.

Des acteurs excellents pour un bon film.
Mais il y a hélas certaines longueurs et ces malaises font que je ne reverrai pas ce film trop souvent. Probablement pas une deuxième vison avant quelques années.

La fin finit plus ou moins en queue de poisson, mais j’ai entendu qu’une suite était prévue pour l’année prochaine. Vivement de voir comment l’histoire va continuer. La suite sera-t-elle digne d’une suite ?
Ou pire !
Si la suite est moins bien, ça pourrait gâcher le charme du premier.

Un film qui ose et qui va au bout des choses.
Chapeau !

Ich kann mich der Begeisterung leider nicht anschliessen. Die Schauspieler sind zwar gut, aber die Story ist doch eher ein Abklatsch von Brokeback Mountain. Schade

Ich kann mich dem Statement von Aurayal voll und ganz anschliessen. Die Rezensionen von Aurayal sind stets sehr fundiert, mit feingefühl und den Tatsachen entsprechend.

Ein unaufgeregter, realistischer Film der ohne viele Worte die Geschichte eines Mannes erzählt, dessen Leben sich plötzlich aus den Fugen bewegt. In diesem Film geht es nicht in erster Linie um den homosexuellen Aspekt, sondern allgemein um Momente im Leben eines Menschen die ihn aus der Bahn werfen können. Überzeugende Schauspieler, stimmige Regie und ein durchdachtes Drehbuch sorgen für einen gelungenen Filmabend. Eindeutige Empfehlung!
