Far From Vietnam is the epic 1967 collaboration between cinema greats Jean-Luc Godard, Joris Ivens, William Klein, Claude Lelouch, and Alain Resnais, made in protest against America`s war in Vietnam.

Initiated and edited by Chris Marker, the film is a documentary with fictional vignettes and "A blending of diverse styles into a singular howl of fury." (Melissa Anderson, Village Voice)

Decried at the time as communist propaganda today Far From Vietnam is seen as a milestone in film history, "perhaps the most eloquent and rankling protest film ever made," (Michael Atkinson, The New York Times) demanding to be reexamined.
