Description

Copper Jack Stone purposefully orchestrates a bank robbery in order to be thrown into prison with the notorious Russian kingpin, Balam. Balam is more than just a mob criminal, he's a very cunning and dangerous lord who controls the police from behind bars. Balam lives in prison as a cover for his real power, which is King of the city. His cell is a lavish private room built specifically for him, inaccessible to most in the depths of the prison structure. Even the warden fears venturing into his area of the prison. However, even surrounded by his loyal henchmen and guards in his sectioned off fortress, Balam doesn't know Jack is coming for him to avenge his family, whom Balam murdered in cold blood. Balam is tough...but Jack is tougher.

Un titre qui fait très punk… pour un film qui n’a rien de punk !
Ou si peu !!!

Quand on voit Dolph Lundgren sur la jaquette du film, on s’attend pas à le voit dans un rôle comme ça ! Plutôt amusant. Il a un bonnet presque pendant tout le film. Il l’enlève dans la dernière scène.
Il a toujours son charisme incroyable. Il n’est pas l ‘acteur principal du film. Le trio de héros fonctionne plutôt bien. Quatuor si on compte la journaliste.
Chez les méchants, ils y a les corrompus, les caïds et les détenus.
Très brutal ! Ça, on s’y attendait !
Bref…
Des scènes de combats, bastons, cascades soit époustouflants, vraiment à couper le souffle, soit… le contraire : très mal joué et risibles.

Un plutôt bon film d’action !
C’est pas du grand art, ni du grand cinéma, ni le genre de film qui fait que la création de la pellicule et du 7ème art est un miracle… mais un divertissement à voir une ou deux fois quand on veut de l’action presque non-stop dans une prison et qu’on n’a pas envie de réfléchir.
Voilà !!!
