Description

After his fiancée is taken by something in the night, Tyler Laird, an ex-soldier with nothing to lose, ventures back into the woods of the Pacific Northwest to find answers about her disappearance. When his car is brutally attacked and disabled by some kind of massive creature, Tyler is discovered by a mysterious hunter named Eli who might hold the answers to which Tyler seeks. Together the two struggle to survive while being hunted by a creature of legendary notoriety: Bigfoot.

durchschnittliche Kost, da diverse Mängel

BIG LEGEND spielt mit dem Mythos des Bigfoot. Ansich sehr ansprechend und unverbraucht. Die Handlung bleibt aber einfach gestrickt und daher anspruchslos. Schauspielerisch wirkt Kevin Makely auf mich sehr sympathisch, glaubhaft und bodenständig. Technisch und optisch ist BIG LEGEND leider ziemlich schlecht. Immerhin überzeugt der Score von Jared Forman und erzeugt Stimmung und Atmosphäre. Da der Film stellenweise etwas schleppend ist und vieles zu gespielt und zu unecht wirkt, bleibt er für mich nur durchschnittlich. Als erster Film von Justin Lee aber OK.
