At age eight, Neil McCormick and Brian Lackey both played on the same youth baseball team in their small Kansas hometown. Now, ten years later, the two eighteen-year-old boys could not be any more different. Neil (Joseph Gordon-Levitt, TV`s "Third Rock From The Sun") is a cold but charismatic teenage hustler, while Brian (Brady Corbet, Thirteen) is a nervous introvert obsessed with the idea that he has been abducted by a UFO. As these two parallel lives inevitably intersect, both boys being to discover a shared past shrouded in mystery. Featuring star-making performances by Gordon-Levitt and Corbet, alongside Academy-Award nominee Elisabeth Shue`s moving portrayal of Neil`s free-spirited mother, Mysterious Skin takes the viewer on an illuminating, deeply affecting journey into the delicate reaches of self discovery.

Neil, un suo coetaneo, da piccolo ha subito le attenzioni del suo allenatore ed ora si prostituisce per le strade di New York.     Knall harter.... film

    Unglaublich gut gespielt. Man denke an den Couch, wie er unter seinem Schnauzer lächelt. Oder auch an Gordon Lewitt in seiner hauptrolle.
    Auch Michelle Trachtenberg überzeugt sehr in der Rolle!

    ha de gester of sf2 bi delikatessen gse. heftig, aber wörklech genial. vor allem de schauspieler wo de neil mccormick spielt hed mi schwär beeidrockt.

    Un film magnifique et tres émouvant.

    Ha de Film vor einiger zyt imene Kino gseh uf English. Sehr empfehlenswert! Freu mi unglaublich uf d DVD!
